Royal Caribbean Suite Class

Royal Caribbean Suite Class

Royal Caribbean Suite class is definitely the ONLY way to go when sailing on a ship of 6000 passengers. And speaking of “that many people”, my husband has repeatedly told me over the years that one of the things on his “bucket list” was to NEVER take a cruise because of that reason!

No one likes to wait in lines, fight crowds and dine with the circus. So after doing a lot of research on cruising I decided to surprise him a few weeks ago with “Honey I just booked a cruise”! LOL Well the look on his face was priceless but I assured him that sailing Royal Caribbean suite class would make all the difference! Royal Caribbeans’ Allure of the Seas is the 2nd largest ship in the world with a capacity of 8565 passengers and crew and below are the amenities that just 4% of the ship in Suite class get to enjoy.

Amenities while sailing on Royal Caribbean’s suite class:

  • Concierge service (private concierge to help you with all your needs)
  • Access to Coastal Kitchen (private dining room for Sky and Royal Class) PRICELESS
  • Complimentary Voom (Ship’s Wi-Fi)
  • Priority arrival and departure (this one is HUGE for my hubs since you are escorted on and off to the ship without waiting at all that means we sailed through customs in 5 minutes!)
  • Priority dining reservations in all restaurants on the ship
  • Reserved seating at most all entertainment venues
  • Suite lounge access and complimentary select alcohol from 11am.-11pm.
  • Daily Hor’s Douvres from 4:30-7:30 in Suite lounge
  • Exclusive access to Barefoot Beachclub on Labadee Haiti
  • Spa bathrobes in rooms
  • Luxury pillow top mattress
  • L’occitane amenities in bathroom

One of the best parts of the trip was visiting Royal Caribbean’s private island in Labadee Haiti. We got off the ship around 10:00 am that morning and a private golf cart picked us up and took us to an exclusive beach called the Barefoot Beach Club designated for Suite class guests only. Here we were served a fabulous beach barbecue luncheon and we even tried the local “Labadoozie” a native tropical drink made from Haitian rum and fruit!

After lunch we took advantage of the complimentary lounge chairs and floating sea mats. Meanwhile the kids were enjoying jumping off rocks, snorkeling the beautiful green seas, looking at tropical fish and beautiful corals.

The second best part of the trip was the private sail away champagne reception for suite guests only on the ship’s helicopter pad!

The champagne reception started at 1:45 pm. just as the ship was leaving the San Juan Puerto Rico Port and we were greeted by ship’s crew members including Mitch the ship’s cruise director.

Last but not least the best part of this cruise was making my family happy! We had a fabulous trip seeing the ports of St. Maarten, San Juan and Labadee Haiti. The kids made new friends and we even made some new friends too!

Here is to hopefully another happy sailing trip next year on Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Harmony of the Seas! Bon Voyage until next year!
